Dress- New Look, Cardi- Walmart, Shoes - Payless

So I ordered from New Look and…I’m not entirely impressed. I don’t know if it’s the clothes or it’s me though. I’ll write more about it when I have the time and energy. 

I saw E-40 at a music festival today in some park in Sacramento.

I feel like you should all know that I sneaked in an entire pint of rum in my bra completely undetected. No outside drinks? No problem.

This dress reminds me of the uniforms on Star Trek TNG. 

4X Target dress I got at the Goodwill, shoes also from the Goodwill.

Oh shit!!

I’m slowly cleaning out my closet and rediscovering old favorites. The dress and the shoes are thrifted, cami is from Fashion Bug.

This dress is pretty great considering it was $13 and from Walmart! You’ll be seeing it again because I’ve already styled it like 5 different ways in my head.

I’m excited to share these pictures because I am madly in love with this dress. It’s from eshakti and it’s still available on their site. A few things though….

This dress is a size 28 (4X) and it’s a little bit snug in the bust, but I like it that way. I did not get it custom sized. It did have a waist band that stretched across the back and buttoned onto those buttons under my breasts, but it made it too tight, so I just removed it.

I’m also going to just cut those buttons off because they get lost under my boobs and are in an unfortunate position (they kinda look like downward pointed denim nipples).

And I should have washed it before I wore it because it turned my skin blue and as well as the cream colored cardigan I was wearing most of the day. But I hate going to the laundromat. Hell, I buy new clothes just so I can put off going to the laundromat.

Overall though, I’m really happy with my eshakti purchases (this dress too). I don’t typically spend so much money on one article of clothing, but these are worth the splurge. I was trying to wait for a special occasion to wear it, but then got impatient and just wore it to work and I got so many compliments on it, I felt like a million bucks.

Anyways, eshakti is probably going to be getting a lot more of my money.
